چکیده
In Binder Jetting (BJ) Additive Manufacturing (AM), green components are usually subjected to sintering process reach required properties. Owing the inherent low density, binder jetted parts undergo shrinkages up 20%. addition, anisotropic dimensional evolution during is characteristic for BJ, generally caused by specifics of arrangement particles printing process. this study, multi-axial 316L stainless steel cubic samples (10 × 10 mm3), manufactured using was characterised dilatometry experiments. Dilatometry tests were conducted temperatures 1300°C and 1370°C, with a heating rate 10°C/min 5°C/min, respectively. results final dimension measurements showed shrinkage behaviour about 15% larger along building direction. Shrinkages other two orthogonal directions relatively similar, but slightly printhead movement direction observed. Relative density 85.0% 96.4% obtained after at

Anisotropy in Elastic Properties of Porous 316L Stainless Steel Due to the Shape and Regular Cell Distribution
In this study, two-dimensional finite element modeling was used to study the simultaneous effect of the cell shape and regular cell distribution on the anisotropy of the elastic properties of 316L stainless steel foam. In this way, the uniaxial compressive stress-strain curve was predicted using a geometric model and fully solid 316L stainless steel. The results showed that the elastic tangent ...
متن کاملTopographical Anisotropy and Wetting of Ground Stainless Steel Surfaces
Microscopic and physico-chemical methods were used for a comprehensive surface characterization of different mechanically modified stainless steel surfaces. The surfaces were analyzed using high-resolution confocal microscopy, resulting in detailed information about the topographic properties. In addition, static water contact angle measurements were carried out to characterize the surface hete...
متن کامل9finite Element Analysis on the Sintering of Stainless Steeel 316l Powder Compacts
Implementation of an accurate sintering model into a finite element simulation program can significantly improve Powder Metallurgy (P/M) part properties and processing efficiency. The densification and creep behavior of stainless steel powders during free sintering has been simulated and the material model has been implemented by linking user subroutines to the ABAQUS finite element code. This ...

متن کاملStudy on Sintering Mechanism of Stainless Steel Fiber Felts by X-ray Computed Tomography
The microstructure evolution of Fe-17 wt. % Cr-12 wt. % Ni-2 wt. % Mo stainless steel fiber felts during the fast sintering process was investigated by the synchrotron radiation X-ray computed tomography technique. The equation of dynamics of stable inter-fiber neck growth was established for the first time based on the geometry model of sintering joints of two fibers and Kucsynski’s two-sphere...
